The MVP of base layers. I am a total freak about fabrics and was pleasantly surprised by how soft and cozy the merino wool is. Cannot go wrong with wool - keeps you cool in the heat, warm in the cold, and even maintains it’s warmth when wet!

A bit pricey but worth the investment - currently on sale at REI for $73. The compact design makes for a perfect travel layer. This summer I brought it on nearly every hike , this fall I’ve been layering it with vests and jackets, and this winter I plan to wear it as a base layer while skiing. My go-to while working from home to stay cozy, but still feel put together during the workweek.
